On February 19, Vice President Xiao Jianzhuang, together with directors of International Cooperation and Exchange Department (Center of Administration and Service for International Students) ,visited the dormitories of international students to gain insights into their living conditions and to extend the greetings and care.

During the visit, Vice President Xiao engaged in cordial discussions with students from various countries, inquiring about their holiday experiences, academic progress, and adaptation to life in China. He expressed particular concern for their health, advising them to prioritize self-care and to communicate any challenges they may face to their teachers and instructors. He encouraged the international students to adopt a positive attitude as they resume their studies in the new semester and to actively communicate and collaborate with their Chinese counterparts for mutual advancement. In addressing the living concerns raised by the students, he coordinated with relevant departments to implement on-the-spot solutions and underscored the importance of providing comprehensive support for a successful start to the new semester.
